Getting started

Create an account, add a website, verify ownership and run your first scan.

Webforta checks websites you control for common security misconfigurations, monitors availability and certificates, and turns the results into reports. Setup takes about ten minutes, most of which is waiting for DNS.

1. Create your account

Register with your work email and confirm it using the link we send. Each account starts with an organization; you can invite colleagues on Pro and Business plans.

2. Add a website

Go to Websites → Add website and enter the hostname, such as example.com or shop.example.com. Each hostname is verified and scanned separately.

3. Verify ownership

Add the TXT record Webforta shows you at your DNS provider, then click "Check DNS record". See Domain verification for provider tips.

4. Run a scan and enable monitoring

Once verified, start a security scan from the website page. Results normally arrive within a minute. Then open the Monitoring tab and switch monitoring on.

5. Choose alert recipients

Under Alerts & incidents, choose which addresses receive downtime, recovery, certificate, DNS, header and new-finding alerts.
