Terms of Service

The agreement between you and the operator of Webforta for use of the service.

1. Who we are

Webforta (the "Service", available at https://webforta.com) is operated by [Legal entity name - to be confirmed], [Registered address - to be confirmed], registration number [Company registration number - to be confirmed], VAT ID [VAT identification number - to be confirmed] ("we", "us"). 2. The Service

Webforta provides website security scanning, availability and certificate monitoring, change detection, reporting, an optional reverse-proxy web application firewall (Webforta Shield), and an optional integration with a Cloudflare account that you control. Features available to you depend on your plan.

The Service is primarily an assessment and monitoring tool. It does not guarantee that a website is secure, free of vulnerabilities or free of malware. Webforta Shield filters traffic only for hostnames you explicitly route to Webforta by changing your DNS, and it begins in a monitor-only mode that blocks nothing until you enable enforcement.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for the actions of members you invite to your organization.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into contracts.

4. Authorization to test

You may only add, verify and scan websites that you own or are explicitly authorized in writing to test. Domain ownership verification is a technical control and does not replace your obligation to hold that authorization. The Security Testing Authorization terms form part of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that violate it, including to protect third parties.

6. Plans, payment and renewal

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through our payment provider and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Prices and VAT treatment are shown before purchase. [Confirm VAT model, consumer vs. business sales, and invoicing obligations with an adviser.]
  • You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. [Confirm refund policy and statutory withdrawal rights for EU consumers before launch.]
  • If a payment fails, we may limit paid features after a grace period.
  • Free trials end automatically at the stated date and are not charged unless you choose a plan.

7. Your data

You retain all rights to data you submit. You grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service for you. Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Monitoring intervals are targets and may vary. We may change features with reasonable notice where changes materially reduce functionality of a paid plan.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is". Scan results may contain false positives or miss issues. You remain responsible for the security of your systems. [Review disclaimer wording for enforceability in your jurisdiction and for consumers.]

10. Limitation of liability

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Data Retention policy.

12. Governing law
