The short version
- Choose Sucuri if your site is already hacked, or you want malware cleanup included with a stated response time, plus a cloud firewall with a CDN and DDoS mitigation.
- Choose Webforta if you want to find problems before they become incidents: evidence-backed scans, uptime, certificate, DNS and content monitoring, an edge firewall on mid-tier plans, a Free plan, monthly billing and agency features such as a client portal and white-label reports.

Sucuri's pricing page lists Security Platform plans billed yearly: Basic at $229, Pro at $339, Business at $549 and Junior Dev at $999.98 per year, with multi-site plans priced on request. It also lists Firewall with CDN plans billed monthly: Basic Firewall at $9.99 and Pro Firewall at $19.98 per month.
- Unlimited manual malware cleanups on the Security Platform plans, with a malware removal response time of 30 hours (Basic), 12 hours (Pro and Junior Dev), 6 hours (Business) and 4 hours (Multi-Site).
- Security scans every 12 hours (Basic), every 6 hours (Pro and Junior Dev) and every 30 minutes (Business).
- A cloud-based WAF enabled by changing your DNS records, which inspects incoming requests before they reach the site.
- A global Anycast CDN, mitigation of layer 3, 4 and 7 DDoS attacks, and virtual patching through continuously updated rules.
- Ticket-based support. On the pricing page, security scans and malware response are marked as Security Platform features rather than Firewall plan features.
What Webforta offers
Webforta has a Free plan (1 website, 4 on-demand scans a month and hourly uptime and certificate checks) and three paid plans: Starter €9, Pro €29 and Business €79 a month (or €90, €290 and €790 a year), before any VAT. Every account can start with a 14-day trial without a card.
- Read-only security scans of verified websites: HTTPS and redirects, security headers and cookies, 77 exposed-file checks confirmed by content, mixed content, injected-script and spam indicators, cloaking checks, and known vulnerabilities in WordPress, PHP, web servers, CMS cores and JavaScript libraries. Every finding shows the evidence, the risk and the fix.
- Uptime and response-time monitoring (minimum intervals: Free 60 minutes, Starter 30 minutes, Pro 10 minutes, Business 5 minutes), certificate and domain expiry, hourly DNS change detection, security-header change detection and new-external-script alerts.
- Webforta Shield, an edge reverse-proxy WAF on Pro and Business: IP, country and path rules, rate limiting, login brute-force protection, WordPress protections, edge security headers, caching and an under attack mode. It starts in monitor mode.
- A free WordPress plugin with a firewall, 2FA, file integrity checks, malware signatures, hardening and safe automatic updates with rollback.
- Reports built only from recorded measurements, PDF scan exports, a read-only client portal and white-label branding for agencies.

Where Sucuri is stronger
- Malware removal. If your site is hacked today, Sucuri's platform plans include cleanup by its team with a stated response time. Webforta does not clean sites.
- Network-level protection. Sucuri states it mitigates layer 3, 4 and 7 DDoS attacks on an Anycast network and offers virtual patching. Webforta Shield's managed rules are deliberately small and conservative and do not inspect request bodies.
- Track record. Sucuri has operated for many years; Webforta is a new service.
Where Webforta may suit you better
- You want prevention and visibility rather than a cleanup service: exposed files, weak headers, outdated software and configuration drift, each with the evidence and a fix.
- You want monitoring in the same product: uptime, response time, certificates, domain expiry, DNS and new external scripts.
- You want to start free or pay monthly, and to see prices in euros.
- You manage client sites and need a client portal and white-label reports.
Can you use both?
Yes. Webforta's scanning and monitoring work from the outside, so they run alongside any firewall, including Sucuri's. Do not put two reverse-proxy firewalls in front of the same hostname unless you know exactly how they should be chained.
